Billysroom is a Lagos-based DJ whose journey into dance music began five years ago on the dancefloors of Nairobi. Now well-traveled across 15+ countries, her sound is a conversation between continents: afro and tribal house meets tech, deep, melodic, and soulful textures, intentionally curated to move you. Her sets are journeys — building energy, creating space for depth and nostalgia while always, always making room to dance.

Over the past two years, Billysroom has grown a dedicated community through her signature event, Billy’s Room, now in its eighth edition. The party has become a part of Lagos’ evolving dance music scene, creating intimate spaces and featuring other DJs full of music and depth.

Her selections have graced stages at notable Lagos events and radio including Group Therapy, House Arrest, The Group Collective, Monochroma, Sonic Radio and more; she has also played in Canada and Kenya, at Soho, BarNextDoor, Ciel and events across the cities and coast. Her growing reputation has earned multiple features in local articles and magazines highlighting DJs shaping Africa’s dance music culture.
